BCD is a proud, local, in-home, and community services provider with almost 20 years’ experience. It takes a large team of dedicated staff, to deliver the quality care and services our customers need. BCD believes in supporting its team of Care Workers, new and present, to ensure a high standard of reliable, quality care while being flexible in the way we deliver services.
We have welcomed Bronwyn to the BCD family as an Onboarding and Employee Champion, to ensure our employees are well trained, truly valued and supported, and have opportunities for professional and personal development. Part of Bronwyn’s focus will be to oversee our new employees make a smooth transition into their Care Worker roles and help support our current staff with training opportunities to help develop their already extensive knowledge. In addition, Covid19 has meant many changes for all of us, and BCD want to support everyone adapt to change and prepare for growth.
Bronwyn, having been a Care Worker herself, and a background in WHS and training is super committed to the role and says “I believe that employees work better if they feel listened to and understood; that supportive teams are more cohesive and achieve better results for our customers. My goal is to identify the training & development needs of our employees, to assist them do their job effectively as well as support their employment journey with BCD.”
