Caring for Your Wellbeing

Social isolation and loneliness caused by the lockdowns are taking an emotional toll on our customers during the lockdown. Many are feeling the strain of not being able to the enjoy the daily activities that they once could and connecting to loved ones.

During these times mental well-being cannot be forgotten and can have far more benefits and impacts of feeling connected and providing wellbeing beyond physical care.

BCD sent out care packages this week to remind our customers that whilst we may be in physical isolation, it’s not social isolation.

One of our customers Ann was delighted to receive her care package that sparked a little bit of sweet joy into her day. Care continues to be the area of focus for BCD and our care workers who are supporting customers in our community who are feeling most vulnerable and alone.
