ABOUT MENANGLE RESPITE HOUSE 

Our  property at 203 Carrolls Rd, Menangle is the location for BCD’s first respite home supporting people with a disability aged 18years+ to explore, stay and conquer their goals in a supported serene retreat environment. This is our respite care focus for short-term accommodation needs. The perfect break from the dredges of routine, our home offers a much needed change of scenery that makes for a relaxing and re-energising stay. Breathe deeply in the open air of the Menangle hills and wrap yourself with the peaceful chimes of nature as part of your short term stay with us. 

Our home offers a variety of daily lifestyle programs so you can experience what support from our care workers feel like. Our overnight 3 day weekend retreats offers a more longer stay with us, where you get to experience a deeper connection to working on your goals and building social relationships with other people.   

Our home sits on almost a 5 acre property where you can stroll across the grass or sit back and admire the scenery from the gorgeous outdoor sunroom. The Meadows, our main home on the property features four bedrooms and two bathrooms paired with the Chesnut Cottage, our self-contained 1 bedroom cottage makes it the perfect escape that provides a more private, intimate, personal stay experience. The two living spaces are cozy and comforting, creating generous communal areas for connecting and storytelling. We know you’ve earned your respite stay and aim to provide you with as blissful a break as we can in a supported, safe environment.
