To our Customers & Community Members,
During this uncertain time, we’re all being urged to stay home as much as possible. Here at BCD, we understand that this time can be troubling for some and you may be experiencing feelings of anxiety and stress.
As an essential service, BCD is dedicated to providing covid safe services. Our Care Workers are trained in Infection Control and have access to supplies of PPE including masks, gloves and sanitizer. We are limiting where possible the movement between customer home/locations and can be flexible in services so you feel safe and assured.
If you attend a group activity that has now been cancelled, our care workers can safely plan an activity, with you in the safety and comfort of your own home. We might also accompany you for some exercise around your neighbourhood. You can still enjoy the things you love whilst maintaining social distancing.
We understand that mental health and wellbeing is just as important as physical health and your mental health can be greatly impacted in periods of isolation. Whether it’s care at home, picking up groceries, purchasing personal protective equipment or connecting you on-line with friends, we can help.
The health of our Customers, Staff and the Community is our priority and BCD is committed to ensure you feel comfortable, safe and happy, every day. Please contact the Care Central Team on 1800 275 223 or email us at carecentral@bcdcci.org.au with any questions you may have.
