Every story and experience shared by our customers is not just feedback, it's guidance. And what better way to understand what matters than by inviting our customers to join us in shaping the future of BCD? For the second consecutive year, our team hosted the Customer Planning Strategy Day, an event where our customers, their families, and their carers share insights, experiences, and hopes for the future. This day has become one of our most anticipated events, filled with powerful conversations and heartfelt stories that bring our mission into focus and drive our team forward with renewed purpose.
Our commitment to being customer-led goes far beyond lip service. We believe our customers should have a seat at the table as we make decisions that impact their lives. Their voices are woven into the fabric of who we are and what we strive to become. This year’s strategy day reaffirmed that the path to a meaningful and lasting impact lies in truly understanding and involving those we support.
Key themes we took away that will continue to guide us:
1. Supporting Care Worker Well-being: Compassionate, kind care begins with healthy, supported care workers. While training is essential, fostering care worker well-being is equally important. A happy, empowered team is the foundation of quality care.
2. Trust is Our Strongest Foundation: Hearing that BCD is trusted by our customers reinforces our dedication to consistent quality support done the way that feels right for them. Trust is at the heart of each relationship, and it’s a privilege to be a steady, reliable presence for those who depend on us.
