Patrick Clark

President

Patrick has been a board member since 2014, he has taken on the role of President in November 2018. He is a self employed mortgage broker with over 35 years experience in finance and banking, along with his wife Jackie they have been operating a transport service for war veterans and war widows as a contractor to the Department of Veterans Affairs for the past 11 years. Patrick is working with the other board members to ensure that services offered to clients are reasonable in price, relevant to each persons needs, and tailored to provide respite and social support to the person’s wider family.

Meghal Shah

Vice-President

Meghal is passionate about helping small organisations prosper and has helped many small organisations grow through his consulting firm Maidus. He joined BCD as CEO from December 2017 and then joined the Board in September 2018. He is committed to serving the people who serve the community. Meghal currently works as a senior manager with Commonwealth Bank of Australia and has also worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Finance from the University of Auckland.

Jackie Clark

Secretary and Public Officer

Jackie has been a member of the BCD Board since 2014, Jackie held the position of Vice President from 2014 - 2017 and currently holds the positions of Public Officer and Secretary. Serving to assist BCD in their endeavours to deliver much valued quality care services to the community. She has seen the organisation evolve over the past few years and Jackie enjoys seeing BCD strive for excellence in their field and volunteers her time to assist BCD fulfill their vision. Jackie works along with her husband, Patrick Clark, as a contractor to the Department of Veterans Affairs in transporting war veterans and widows to and from medical appointments. Prior to this Jackie worked in the finance industry, and also ran a family operated pre-school in the Macarthur district.

Angelina

Treasurer

Angelina is a small business owner and with a Masters in Business Administration. She has 10 years’ experience working for the NSW government and brings her passion in improving efficiency and effectiveness of organisational operations. Angelina has been on the Committee since 2017 and is currently serving as the BCD Treasurer.

Jeramy

Member

Jeramy Nusco has been working as a Behaviour Practitioner for over7 years. First working in a large not-for-profit where he conducted training in positive behaviour support and restricted practices, whilst also facilitating their restricted practices panel. During this time Jeramy was also teaching disability, mental health and community services at 5 tertiary institutions. Today, Jeramy is working as a practitioner, counsellor and teacher and is currently completing further tertiary qualifications. Jeramy has had the opportunity to present at various conferences relating to restricted practices, contributed to the 2015 Senate Enquiry into Institutionalised Abuse, has delivered training to over 3000 people and ran a range of programs including the 2016 Grief and Loss Symposium & 2017 Restricted Practices Symposium.

Shane Donohoe

Member

Shane joined the BCD Board in October 2018. She is a highly accomplished People and Culture executive with proven expertise in organisational cultural development, human resources strategy, communication, mediation, leadership development and strategic talent acquisition and development management. Shane has a wealth of experience leading and coaching teams of people and culture professionals across a broad range of industry sectors such as infrastructure, mining, banking and finance with organisations that vary in size from sole operators to ASX listed companies with exposure and operations locally, internationally and globally. Shane has contributed greatly BCD already as part of the Risk & Governance Committee.

Michael Wells

Member

Michael has over 15 years experience working across the Community Service Sector. Having lead high volume teams across multiple Australian States, Michael is well versed within his understanding of the NDIS, Federal Government Employment Services Contracts and operating small not for profit businesses within a competitive market. Michael completed his Business Front-line Management education through Victoria University and has had the opportunity to participate in a number of Executive coaching/leadership development programs. Michael is passionate about supporting individuals to live their best life possible and achieving their goals through a truly person centred approach.

Grant Doran

Member

Grant joined the BCD Board in 2019 and has extensive strategic management experience. Focusing on improving business effectiveness through skills development, Grant has experiences gained in a wide variety of management and consulting roles, both within the Australian Public Service (APS) and the private sector.
Specialty areas where Grant is influencing BCD include: Aged Care • Strategic & Tactical Planning • Programme Management • Contract & Procurement • Information Technology • Business Operations Manager • Central Government • Finance • Health • Manufacturing • Consulting • Gateway Reviewer.
Grant serves as the Chair of BCD’s Governance and Risk Committee.

Gary Knight

Member

Gary also joined the BCD Board in 2019 and brings extensive experience in property, finance & accounting, investments, and corporate structures to the team. Gary has worked with blue-chip investment houses as well as boutique business and property developers to assist them in building sustainable and resilient businesses and business models.

Heather Hollingworth

Interim CEO

Heather joined the BCD Board in October 2018. Bringing experience from executive leadership roles in the Human Services sector and recent consulting in People, Technology, Change and customer service environments. Heather accepted the Interim CEO position to design and drive an ongoing and sustainable growth strategy for BCD. She is committed to the customers of BCD getting quality services to live the life they want.

Paul Luketic

Member

Paul has over 20 years senior management experience with global companies including Dow Jones, Vodafone and Noble Systems, during which time he developed a passion for innovation and customer experience and has since founded calltime where he is the CEO. calltime’s mission is to help small-to-mid-sized companies maximise their telecommunications through cloud-based solutions without the headache of dealing with the large telco’s. Paul maintains an active interest in all things IT, with a particular interest in transformation & disruption and continues to look for way’s technology can enhance the way we live Paul works extensively with other NFPs so understands the industry and where BCD improve its services to customers and community.
